Baking Is My Happiness

Welcome to Suzie’s Cookie Kitchen!

In my grandmother’s warm kitchen, I would watch as she measured and mixed and we made memories. Later, with my mom, I became the one mixing and measuring, always remembering that love. Baking and cooking have sustained me even as I worked as a single mother. Nothing made me happier than baking for my son, Craig. After painful losses and the challenges of re-imagining my life, I know what pleasure a baked treat can bring to someone.

I love to share my baked treats with my family and friends. I hope you will enjoy them too.

If you are looking for seasonal/holiday cookies, please ask. I will have black cats, ghosts, leaves and pumpkins for fall, turkey cookies at Thanksgiving time, mittens, snowmen, snowflake, ugly sweater cookies as well as fresh cranberry bars and red velvet options, too, for Christmas and winter cookies.

  • Classic Chocolate Chunk Cookies

    Our Chocolate Chunk Cookies are special. These have a little more chocolate in them compared to a chocolate chip cookie. Who doesn’t like more chocolate?

  • Ginger Snap Cookies

    These classic ginger snaps have a little crisp on the outside but are soft on the inside. They have a warmth about them that make them very special.

  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Babycakes

    It’s the perfect combo: chocolate cake & chocolate peanut butter frosting. These babycakes are 2-3 bites of goodness. You must give these a try if you love chocolate & peanut butter!

  • Snickerdoodles

    These classic cookies are a little crispy on the edges and a little chewy on the inside. They are loaded with oats, cinnamon, raisins and walnuts (optional).

  • M&M Cookies

    These are perfect for grandchildren or for an M&M lover. Colors will vary throughout the year, depending on the holiday season.

  • Black & White Cookies

    A cakey cookie with a lemony glaze. One half of the cookie has a lemony glaze; the other has a chocolate glaze. One of my family’s favorites! Colors can be customized.

  • Celebration Cookies

    These are cream cheese-based cookies with a slight lemony glaze. One of my most popular cookies. Give someone a little bit of happiness!

  • Vanilla Babycakes with Strawberry Buttercream Frosting

    These are a 2-3 bite-size cupcake. Just enough to curb your sweet tooth. Not too sweet; just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. Babycakes come in a variety of flavor choices.
